Predominately we use PLA (Polylactic Acid) a biodegradable and eco-friendly plastic used in 3D printing. PLA is also used for food packaging and other products due to its biodegradability and non-toxic nature. We also use PETG (Polyethylene terephthalate glycol) a durable thermoplastic polyester. PETG is a modified version of PET (Polyethylene terephthalate), which is commonly used in plastic beverage bottles. The addition of glycol in PETG improves its toughness and flexibility compared to standard PET.

Layer lines are mostly unavoidable due the process of layer 3D printing. However there are many settings and design choices that can help mitigate the lines, which we strive to optimise with every product we produce.

How long is a piece of sting? Depending on what the print is and how complex it is, materials used, multi-coloured, it could take an hour.... however I have printed some models that took over 18 hours. For one of the 3 sections.
